Hi there! I'm Sagar Jeevan, a Software Engineer at Dell EMC, Seattle. I hold a Master's degree in Computer Science from Stony Brook University, New York.

I'm a curious individual who loves taking the initiative and developing things that impact lives on a large scale. I've got varied expertise and interests ranging from Distributed Systems to Web Development to Economics. I've industry experience developing multi-threaded Kernel code for Distributed File Systems at Dell EMC. I also have experience with Django Web and Django REST framework with which I developed multiple websites with object-oriented design. As a hobby, I author articles on Finance and Economics on my website oureconomist.com. I'm keen on understanding and contributing to the broader aspects of the world that interact with each other.

During my Master's, my focus was on designing and developing Distributed Systems, File Systems, and Multi-threaded projects. I worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at File systems and Storage Lab (Advisor Prof. Erez Zadok). Here, I and my teammate developed a memory map between Kernel and FUSE Daemon of Linux's FUSE framework that'd make the write path work significantly faster.
